Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was warmly welcomed by the authorities of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Museum during her visit.
She and her delegation were given a detailed briefing on the historical journey of the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) evolution.
The CPC Museum presented a visual history of the Communist Party of China, showcasing China's history and the revolution, including the struggles of Mao Zedong, the founding figure of the Chinese revolution.
The visual evolutionary journey also covered the Chinese Revolution, the British Army’s war, the Russian Revolution, and the establishment of the Communist Party of China. The historical events, from the founding of the Communist Party to the current presidency of Xi Jinping, were also shared.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the digital history exhibited in the CPC Museum and wrote her thoughts in the guest book.
She expressed that the visual observation of China’s history was an extraordinary and memorable experience. "China has created an extraordinary miracle in world history," she remarked.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif noted that the 130-year history of the Communist Party of China is well reflected in the CPC Museum. "The evolution of the Communist Party has not only changed China but the entire world," she said.
She also pointed out that not only Pakistan but the entire world is benefiting from the invaluable changes occurring in China. "The Chinese people have made exemplary efforts for development and prosperity," she added.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif further emphasized that China has proven that with sincere leadership and a firm resolve for development, no force can stop progress. "China’s development and prosperity is a model to be followed by developing countries," she stated.
In her closing remarks, she expressed that Pakistan would move forward in its development journey in collaboration with China.
The Chief Minister also posed for photos in front of the mural at the CPC Museum and expressed interest in the sculptures of Chinese leadership. She also observed ancient Chinese items displayed in the museum and expressed her astonishment and joy at seeing the sculptures of Chinese leadership.
She also visited the site of the First National Congress of the CPC and viewed historical facts about China and Shanghai, as well as the founding events of the Communist Party of China at the CPC Museum.
CM Maryam invites Chinese companies to invest in Punjab SEZs
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by a delegation, arrived in Shanghai on the third leg of her visit to China.
During her visit, she held a meeting with Zou Zongming, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanghai Committee, who warmly welcomed her.
The discussion focused on enhancing economic ties between Punjab and Shanghai, with both sides expressing a strong commitment to further strengthening their collaboration.
The meeting emphasised the need to promote cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, science, technology, and industry.
Maryam Nawaz acknowledged the support provided to Pakistani students and professionals, thanking China for offering training and educational opportunities.
Additionally, she invited Shanghai-based companies to invest in Punjab’s Special Economic Zones, which are aimed at boosting the region’s economic growth.
Highlighting Shanghai’s role as a global financial and trade hub, Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed a keen interest in collaborating with Shanghai companies in sectors like automobiles, IT, semiconductors, and robotics. She emphasized that China’s cooperation in building the capacity of experts in Pakistan’s IT sector has contributed significantly to its growth.
Yesterday Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari shared that during her visit to China, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is making historic agreements. Maryam is on the verge of changing the fate of Punjab, she said.
The CM has secured agreements for the most advanced cancer treatments and also for introducing innovation in Punjab’s agriculture sector. "With Allah’s help, Maryam Nawaz is transforming the province’s future," the provincial information minister maintained.
