IShowSpeed has responded to Tyreek Hill’s challenge for a $100K race, turning up the heat with an even bigger wager.
On November 30, Hill, the NFL’s star wide receiver, took to Twitch to challenge the YouTube sensation to a footrace for $100,000 — but with one condition. Hill stated that Speed would need to donate to his charity, the Tyreek Hill Family Foundation, which helps at-risk youth.
However, IShowSpeed, known for his viral moments and competitive nature, fired back on social media, accepting the challenge but with a twist. The popular streamer claimed Hill has been avoiding a race after Speed reportedly showed up to one of his practices, only to be turned away.
“I’m tired of hearing your sh*t. I pulled up to your practice last time. You didn’t wanna race me ‘cause you were scared,” IShowSpeed declared in a fiery response. He then raised the stakes by suggesting a 40-yard sprint for $100,000, promising to donate the money to Hill’s charity as requested.
But Speed added his own stipulation: “If I win, you donate to my charity or give it to one of my supporters.” Speed’s bold challenge quickly sparked buzz across social media, with fans eagerly awaiting Hill’s response.
Tyreek Hill has yet to respond to IShowSpeed’s rebuttal, leaving the outcome of this showdown uncertain. The NFL star is just the latest athlete to be called out by Speed, following previous streams with Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, and gymnast Frederick ‘Flips’ Richard. Fans are now waiting to see if this high-stakes race will finally take place.
