Joe Rogan recently addressed earlier claims suggesting that Sean "Diddy" Combs "poisoned" Jamie Foxx and caused his 2023 hospitalization.
The rumors connecting the Bad Boy Records mogul to Foxx's health scare began after eyewitnesses alleged that Foxx mentioned it during tapings for his upcoming Netflix special.
However, sources have since clarified that Jamie Foxx was likely joking about Diddy being the reason for his health issue.
Rogan shared his reaction to the claims, discussing the rumor that Diddy "poisoned" Foxx, which allegedly led to the actor’s mysterious health complications in 2023.
"Jamie Foxx just recently said that P Diddy poisoned him, and that's why he got that stroke," Rogan told his guests Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir, per the Daily Mail.
He added, "He talked about it on stage ... He talked about it on his Netflix special."
Due to the outlandish nature of the claim, Rogan suggested it was likely a joke made for the Netflix special.
Rogan said, "It's possible, that's totally possible, but it's also possible he was explaining why he went to the hospital, and he hasn't talked about it since."
He concluded the discussion by saying, "We won't know until we see the actual Jamie Foxx Netflix special."
The rumors Rogan addressed surfaced after several eyewitnesses who attended Foxx's Netflix special taping alleged the actor connected Diddy to his illness.
"I know [Combs] poisoned Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it… Jamie Foxx reported this man to the FBI because of this," said a source named Big Homie. CC.
The source also revealed that he was present at the show’s taping while working as a bodyguard for a guest.
Another eyewitness, videographer Choke No Joke, echoed the claims during an interview on Comedy Hype, stating that he did not believe Foxx was joking with his allegations.
Foxx seemed to add to the speculation by avoiding a direct answer when asked about the rumors that Diddy "poisoned" him.
According to the Daily Mail, Foxx was spotted filling up his baby-blue Mercedes G-Wagon in Los Angeles late last month. When asked about the rumors, he responded, "God bless you," with a smile, deflecting the question. The actor added, "I'm feeling good, I'm feeling better."
However, sources from the Netflix taping have denied the Diddy poisoning rumors. They told TMZ that while Foxx did mention Diddy's name during the performance, it was all said in "jest."
