Five dead, eight injured after roof collapses in K-P

Eight rescued people rushed to the hospital while the deceased belonged to on family

Five people have died and eight others have been injured following the collapse of a roof in the Bazaar Zakha khel Ilacha area of Khyber district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

According to rescue sources, the incident occurred when the roof of a room collapsed, trapping 13 people under the debris. Eight of the injured were rescued and transported to Peshawar for medical treatment.

The sources confirmed that both the deceased and the injured were from the same family. The roof collapse caused significant damage, with five people confirmed dead at the scene. The injured individuals have been taken to Peshawar for further medical care.
