JI chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has rejected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's claims of reducing inflation, questioning why fuel and electricity prices remain unchanged if inflation is truly under control.
In a statement, Naeem criticised also the government's winter electricity package, accusing it of misleading the public under the pretext of relief.
He asserted that the PM's claims of controlling inflation are baseless, adding that the current government stands on lies and manipulated data.
He questioned why, if inflation had truly decreased, there were no improvements in industries, nor reductions in prices.
