More than 45 female footballers showed up for trials for the Sindh squad for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Sindh Sports Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar and applauded the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the young women athletes.
He directed the selectors to ensure that team selection is based strictly on merit without any bias or favouritism.
During a media briefing at the United Stadium in Karachi, he stated, "It is a source of pride that the Sindh Dept of Sports has organised these trials for the girls' football team. In a society like ours, seeing young women embrace football is truly inspiring."
