Armed bandits shot a security company employee dead for putting-up resistance during a robbery incident on the busy 26th Commercial Street in Defence Housing Authority.
The deceased, a retired SSG Commando Muhammad Saeed, accompanied by a colleague, was returning to office on his motorcycle after withdrawing Rs500,000 from a bank. On the way they stopped at a nearby paan shop to take some refreshments.
During this time, four robbers on two motorcycles reached and tried to snatch the money and opened fire on his resistance.
