Eminem has been announced as a guest judge for season 2 of Netflix's rap competition show Rhythm + Flow, which returns on November 20. The rapper, alongside his longtime collaborator Royce Da 5’9", will lend his critique to contestants in Atlanta. Eminem joins main judges Ludacris, DJ Khaled, and Latto, who will be assessing aspiring artists throughout the show.
In the trailer, Latto said, "I’m looking for the full package. I’m looking for somebody that can survive in this new generation." DJ Khaled added, "I want to discover something special." Ludacris also expressed his excitement, noting, "I want to see who has everything to be the next superstar."
Other industry veterans, including Busta Rhymes, Big Sean, Remy Ma, GloRilla, and Mr. Porter, will also appear as guest judges throughout the season. The competition’s winner will take home a $250,000 cash prize. Season 2 will premiere weekly, with episodes dropping on November 20, November 27, and December 4.
Eminem has had a busy year, releasing his album The Death of Slim Shady in July, which topped the Billboard 200, marking his 10th consecutive chart-topping album. The rapper also recently learned that his daughter, Hailie Jade, is expecting her first child.
