Fans hoping to secure presale tickets for Coldplay’s 2025 UK shows at Craven Park in Hull and Wembley Stadium in London faced mixed results on Wednesday. Those who pre-ordered the band’s latest album were given early access to the presale at 09:00 BST. Despite limited availability, some fans successfully secured tickets, while others were left disappointed.
Sarah Cash, a Hull resident, was one of the lucky ones. "I still can't quite believe I'm going to see Coldplay in my home city of Hull. What a great coup for the city," she said. Cash also noted that local fans with HU, YO, DN, or LN postcodes have another chance to purchase tickets in a local presale later that day.
Coldplay will perform two nights at Craven Park on 18 and 19 August 2025 as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour, with Hull being one of only two UK locations for the shows. The band will also perform six dates at Wembley Stadium in London in August 2025.
Gez Reilly, a hotelier from Hibaldstow, secured four tickets for himself, his wife, and their two teenage daughters. Reilly expressed excitement, saying, "Coldplay is always playing in our house," adding that the family was looking forward to "an amazing family day out, in Hull of all places!"
However, many fans reported the presale tickets sold out within 20 minutes. One fan noted seeing a message on Ticketmaster at 09:22 stating, "UPDATE: There are currently no available tickets in this presale." General tickets for both Hull and London dates will be available from 09:00 on Friday.
