Lando Norris dismissed reports of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell suffering from heatstroke after the Singapore GP.

Lando Norris recently downplayed reports of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell suffering from heatstroke following the grueling Singapore Grand Prix. Both Mercedes drivers reportedly struggled with extreme temperatures at the Marina Bay Circuit, where track conditions reached up to 104°F with 90% humidity, resulting in drivers losing up to four kilograms during the race. However, Norris appeared dismissive of the situation during a Twitch session, commenting, “Everyone’s got heatstroke if they’ve got heatstroke,” seemingly brushing off the claims made by Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff. Wolff had stated that Hamilton and Russell were suffering from "overheating" and that both drivers missed their post-race media duties due to the intense conditions.

The Singapore Grand Prix is widely regarded as one of the most physically demanding races on the F1 calendar. Russell struggled to hold his position throughout the race, eventually finishing behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, while Hamilton, who started in P3, finished in P6. Despite these difficulties, Norris’ dismissal of the heatstroke reports sparked discussions among fans, as he suggested that all drivers faced the same challenging conditions during the race.
