Kick has officially banned the use of Galaxy Gas on its platform, issuing warnings that any streamer found using whippets or Galaxy Gas during a livestream will face a permanent ban.
This decision comes in response to the rising trend of inhaling nitrous oxide, commonly known as "Galaxy Gas," which has gained popularity on social media platforms, particularly TikTok.

Galaxy Gas, a company based in Atlanta, sells whipped cream chargers and dispensers, which contain nitrous oxide, a gas used in culinary processes to whip cream. However, some individuals are using these dispensers to inhale the gas for a brief high, an activity referred to as "whippets."
The trend has spread into the hip-hop community, with videos circulating of rappers such as Baby Kia and Skrilla engaging in the behavior. Despite Galaxy Gas distancing itself from these problematic uses, the brand has become tied to the trend due to its colorful dispensers.
While Galaxy Gas is a commonly seen brand, other whipped cream dispenser companies are also associated with the trend. Kick's firm stance against this behavior reflects growing concerns about the dangers of inhaling nitrous oxide, which can lead to serious health risks.
