Man killed over monetary dispute

The police traced and arrested the accused in a case of blind killing of an employee belonging to a sensitive institution, and also recovered the murder weapon.

Initial investigation indicates a dispute over money transactions led to the murder.

During a media briefing, Haripur SP Investigation and other police officers explained that Tahir, son of Sulaiman and a resident of Bhera, was killed on September 2 in Milam Meera within the limits of Khalabat police station.

A case was registered against the then unknown accused in the complaint by the complainant, A*. The police started the investigation in the case and arrested the accused Usman Ali, alias Ali, son of Shakeel, and Naimat Khan, son of Gulshan Khan, both residents of Darwaish, and recovered the deceased's pistol and the rickshaw used in the incident, other firearms, motorcycle, papers and identity cards.
