Tim Burton's highly anticipated "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" made a spectacular debut at the Venice Film Festival, captivating audiences with its otherworldly charm and earning an enthusiastic 4-minute standing ovation. The premiere brought together the original cast members, including Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, alongside newcomers Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe.

Burton expressed his delight at reuniting with the original cast and introducing new faces to the beloved supernatural comedy. Keaton, reprising his iconic role, described the film as "unique," while Burton playfully dismissed the possibility of a third installment due to his age.

The sequel picks up with the Deetz family returning to their haunted home, where Beetlejuice's chaotic return wreaks havoc on both the living and the afterlife.

"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is set for international release on September 4th, followed by a North American release on September 6th. The film's warm reception at Venice signals a promising start for this long-awaited sequel.
