Ben Affleck has been spotted spending time with Kick Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., following his separation from Jennifer Lopez.
A Hollywood source informed Page Six that the two have been spotted together at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel and other popular locations.
The exact nature of their relationship is still unknown. Kick chose not to comment, and representatives for Affleck did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for a statement.
Jennifer Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on Tuesday after months of speculation about their breakup.
Page Six discovered that their marriage had ended back in March, although the "On the Floor" singer officially listed their separation date as April 26.
She cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split.
One possible reason for their differences is that Affleck reportedly struggled with the intense media attention their relationship attracted.
In fact, Page Six previously reported in 2022 that the "Argo" actor "freaked out" during their honeymoon in Paris due to the constant presence of paparazzi, which reminded him of why their initial relationship ended—the overwhelming media pressure.
A source close to Affleck told Page Six that he is not ashamed of his need for personal space and is “proud of the fact that he always has and always will take care of himself.”
“He has never—and seemingly will never—give himself over completely to another person,” they added.
This naturally presents a challenge for Lopez.
“The kind of big love Jennifer believes in, that sort of all-consuming devotion? Ben played along for a while and wanted to be part of it, but it’s just not who he is,” the insider explained.
A source close to the "This Is Me… Now" singer shared with Page Six earlier in August that she feels embarrassed about their failed marriage because she genuinely believed that she and Affleck would finally make their relationship work.
