Alleged killer of food delivery man arrested

Police have arrested a suspect, allegedly involved in killing a food delivery man Zeeshan near Ghazi Goth last month.

SP Investigation East Alina Rajpar said that two suspects riding a motorcycle opened fire at a petrol pump, as a result a bullet hit Zeeshan.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the armed suspects verbally abusing petrol pump staff before drawing their weapons. The accused opened fire at people at the pump. A bullet hit Zeeshan who was standing at the fuel station. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his fatal injury during the treatment.

Home Minister, Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar took notice of the incident and ordered the arrest of suspects the soonest.

Acting on a tipoff, the East Zone Investigation Police arrested a suspect identified as Tufail.

SP Investigation East Alina Rajpar stated that raids are being conducted to apprehend his accomplice.
