JARANWALA:

The Divisional Forest Department reclaimed 27 acres of state land in Chak 534 GB.

The land had been illegally occupied by the land mafia for over three decades.

During a meeting with Commissioner Silwat Saeed, Divisional Forest Officer Ansar Rasul highlighted the ongoing encroachment issues across the four districts within the Faisalabad Division.

Commissioner Saeed informed the participants about an upcoming comprehensive plantation drive set to launch on August 14.

The drive aims to plant the maximum number of saplings within a single minute, engaging diverse sections of society in a healthy competition to promote environmental sustainability.

As part of the initiative, a 5-acre nursery will be established in designated areas to combat pollution and support the drive.
