Alpine will debut a special superhero-themed livery at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. The livery promotes the new film "Deadpool & Wolverine," starring team shareholder Ryan Reynolds. This one-off design marks a departure from Alpine’s standard liveries for the 2024 season.
The Enstone-based team usually features two primary liveries. The main livery, predominantly blue-accented, is used in 16 of the 24 rounds of the season. The secondary, pink-accented livery is used for the remaining eight rounds. It is currently unclear which version will be set aside for the special livery this weekend.
Alpine initially teased the new design on its WhatsApp broadcast channel and social media platforms. The teaser image showcased Esteban Ocon's number 31 and Pierre Gasly's number 10 cars with a red/orange hue. Notably, Ocon's image featured three stripes with a claw effect, hinting at Wolverine, while promoting Reynolds’ portrayal of Deadpool.
