KARACHI:

Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Information Secretary and Pakistan Muslim League Functional Sindh General Secretary Sardar Abdul Rahim condemned the police attack on peaceful protests demanding the recovery of Priya Kumari, the girl abducted from Kashmore.

Reportedly, the protest at Teen Talwar witnessed violence against journalists, including the snatching of cameras.

Sardar Abdul Rahim demanded the immediate recovery of Priya Kumari and criticised the authorities, stating that Sindh has become an industry for kidnapping for ransom, happening daily while the rulers and police merely watch the show and do nothing on the matter. He pointed out that the police are unable to rescue hostages and instead crack down on those who peacefully protest for their loved ones.
