Scarlett Johansson has inquiries about her husband Colin Jost's forthcoming journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

During her Monday, July 8 appearance on the Today show to discuss her new movie Fly Me to the Moon with Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, 39, expressed curiosity about her husband Colin Jost, 42, landing his new role.

She questioned "Is that even - how did he get this gig?" after host Savannah Guthrie mentioned that the Saturday Night Live comedian would be assisting NBC Sports in covering Olympic surfing competitions from Tahiti, in the South Pacific Ocean.

"It's even worse of a boondoggle than Paris, which we're already getting away with - he's going to Tahiti to cover surfing. What?" Guthrie, 52, said.

"I'm like, 'Is this a job? How is this?' When they announced the Paris Olympics, he immediately found out that they were doing the surf competition in Tahiti, which is so cool," Johansson, who has been married to Jost since 2020, said of her husband, "He loves to surf, we have a place in Montauk, he's always out there surfing."

"Somehow the dream became a reality and now he's going to be in Tahiti for two weeks. I'm like 'poor you,' " she added, mimicking a tear rolling down her face.

NBC revealed Colin Jost's involvement in its surfing coverage on June 26. The sport, which debuted at the Summer Olympics in 2011 in Tokyo, will make its second appearance ever. Surfing events are scheduled to take place from July 27 to July 31 in Teahupo'o, Tahiti, as stated on the Olympics' official website.
