Taraji P. Henson, the Oscar-nominated actress, dazzled as the host of the 2024 BET Awards, donning a series of stunning outfits throughout the night.
Known for her previous hosting stints in 2021 and 2022, Henson ensured this year's event was no exception when it came to making a fashion statement.
Henson kicked off the night at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, wowing the red carpet in a custom gold Balmain gown with intricate chainmail detailing.
She accessorised with Tiffany & Co. jewellery, Betsey Johnson heels, and a chic side-swept bob, complemented by a smoky makeup look. Styled by the acclaimed duo Wayman and Micah, Henson made a bold entrance that set the tone for the evening.
Once the show began, Henson transitioned into a more casual look for her hosting duties. She opened with a rap performance, sporting a red hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. Her second outfit of the night was a sophisticated white ensemble, showcasing her versatility in fashion.
Henson's third outfit was a white beaded mini dress, complete with layers of pearl necklaces, an embellished collar-style choker, a white gauzy shawl, and strappy heels. Her confidence on stage was evident, befitting her experience as a seasoned host.

Throughout the night, Henson continued to impress with her outfit changes. She donned a red snakeskin bustier paired with brown snakeskin pants while playing the banjo, followed by a strapless black-and-white floral dress with red accents and red gloves.

Her fashion parade didn't stop there. Henson mixed it up with a dark denim romper, accessorised with an oversized double-buckle belt, a shredded denim coat, double diamond chain necklaces, and denim blue nails.

Ahead of the event, Henson expressed her excitement about celebrating her peers and the cultural impact on entertainment. Connie Orlando, executive vice president of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET, praised Henson in a statement, highlighting her vibrant personality and charisma.
