Phoebe Gates, daughter of tech mogul Bill Gates, has confirmed her relationship with Arthur Donald, grandson of Beatles icon Paul McCartney.

The confirmation came as Phoebe celebrated her graduation from Stanford University, where she completed her Human Biology degree in just three years.

In an intimate photo diary for Nylon published on June 21, Phoebe, 21, shared moments from her graduation day, including a memorable piggyback ride from Arthur, 25.

The couple has been linked romantically since October 2023, when they vacationed together in Europe, as documented by Phoebe on her Instagram.

"I knew I had to make it happen if I could because I wanted to watch my mother [Melinda Gates] deliver this year’s commencement speech as a graduate," Phoebe expressed to Nylon, reflecting on her speedy academic journey.

She emphasized the joy of marking this milestone alongside family and friends.

Phoebe Gates is the youngest of Bill and Melinda Gates' children, alongside sister Jennifer, 28, and brother Rory, 25. Meanwhile, Arthur Donald, the eldest son of Mary McCartney and Alistair Donald, shares his lineage with a musical dynasty, being part of Paul McCartney's extended family.

Paul McCartney himself has expressed delight in being a grandfather to his numerous grandchildren, sharing moments with them during family holidays.

The relationship between Phoebe and Arthur has drawn attention not only due to their famous family connections but also for their shared experiences and public moments together, notably during Phoebe's recent graduation festivities.
