The cast of the hit Hulu show "The Bear" embraces Jeremy Allen White's heartthrob status with humor, according to his co-star Abby Elliott. In an interview with The Times, Elliott, who plays Carmy's sister Natalie, shared that while the cast acknowledges White's sex appeal, they also deeply respect his acting abilities.
"I mean, we all kinda do," Elliott said of White's sex symbol status. "But he's also an amazing actor, so to be in a scene with someone working at that caliber is thrilling to me."
With season 3 of "The Bear" set to premiere earlier than expected on June 26, Elliott admitted that the cast felt the pressure to maintain the show's success. However, she reassured that once filming began in Chicago, it felt like returning to a familiar rhythm with their on-screen family.
Elliott also opened up about the show's unique production style, describing director Christopher Storer's fast-paced approach, which requires actors to come to set fully prepared. She even admitted to dreaming about memorizing lines due to the intensity of the process.
Before joining "The Bear," Elliott was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2012. She reflected on her experience, noting the competitive nature of the show and the difficulty of balancing motherhood with the demanding schedule, as some of her co-stars did.
Fans eagerly anticipating the return of "The Bear" can now rejoice as all 10 episodes of season 3 will hit Hulu on Wednesday, June 26, at 9 p.m. ET, three hours earlier than initially planned.
