Shannen Doherty says ex Kurt Iswarienko is waiting for her to die before paying spousal support

Shannen Doherty claims Kurt Iswarienko is stalling the divorce process to avoid paying her while she's still alive.

Shannen Doherty, the 53-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, is seeking spousal support from her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko as her monthly income decreases.

Documents obtained by PEOPLE show Doherty has not yet received financial information regarding Iswarienko's original photography work, which is delaying the process.

Doherty claims Iswarienko is prolonging the divorce to avoid paying her while she's still alive. "It is simply not right that Kurt be permitted to prolong our divorce in hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years," she states in the documents.

Iswarienko's lawyer disputes this claim, saying he offered a settlement deal in October 2023, but Doherty denied it. Doherty is requesting $15,434 per month in spousal support, citing her loss of SAG health insurance and decreasing Charmed residuals.

The actress is also accusing Iswarienko of living an extravagant lifestyle while she has no access to funds, their airplane, or their marital vacation home in Texas. "Kurt has been utilizing the airplane, spending thousands of dollars at medical spas, jewelry stores, Gucci, and on flights... while simultaneously claiming he has insufficient funds with which to support me," the filing reads.

According to documented calculations, Iswarienko's average annual income over the past three years was $672,916, leaving "at least" $56,076 per month spendable. Doherty's lawyers state the spousal support would come out of this amount.
