Donald Trump, the former US President and current 2024 presidential candidate, recently lauded Elon Musk's achievements during an appearance on Logan Paul's popular podcast, "Impaulsive."

"I think Elon, he's a terrific, you know," Trump remarked, recalling his amazement at Musk's innovative advancements in space technology. Describing his reaction to SpaceX's reusable rocket engines, Trump said, "I looked at the ship that went up, and I never saw this before. I saw the engines coming down, no wings, no anything...and they're landing on a platform in the middle of the ocean. I said, how cool is that?"

Trump continued to praise Musk, noting his contributions across various industries. "He's a spectacular guy. Between PayPal, Neuralink, Starlink, Tesla, SpaceX, and other things, he's probably one of the greatest minds of innovation."

Logan Paul, the host of "Impaulsive," is an American social media influencer, professional wrestler, YouTuber, entrepreneur, and actor.

With over 23 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and accolades from Forbes as one of the highest-paid YouTube creators, Paul has built a substantial following.

He co-founded the beverage company Prime and has been signed to WWE since June 2022, where he is the current WWE United States Champion.

This praise comes against the backdrop of Trump's recent legal challenges. On May 30, 2024, a New York jury convicted Trump on all 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels.

This conviction marked him as the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime.

Despite these challenges, Trump remains a prominent figure in the Republican Party, having announced his campaign for a nonconsecutive second presidential term in November 2022.

Following a landslide victory in the 2024 Iowa Republican presidential caucuses, he is considered the presumptive nominee for the party.
