Former Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell Reveals Dan Schneider yelled at him on "All That" set

Kel Mitchell, known for his roles on Nickelodeon shows like "All That" and "Kenan & Kel," recently opened up about a negative experience with former Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider. During an episode of Keke Palmer's podcast, "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer," Mitchell recounted an incident where Schneider allegedly yelled at him in a closet on set.

According to Mitchell, the incident occurred after several personnel changes on "All That," with Schneider taking on a more prominent role. Mitchell stated that he and Schneider "bumped heads" due to differing creative visions for the show. One day, an argument escalated, and Schneider led Mitchell into a closet, where he reportedly "just took off, you know, just yelling all this wild stuff."

Feeling overwhelmed, Mitchell chose to walk away from the situation. "Being an adult at this point, I had a decision to make, you know what I mean? I was just like, OK, either we [are] going to fight or either I'm going to leave," he explained. "And so that's what I did. I left the situation."

Mitchell's account adds to a growing list of allegations against Schneider, who has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by multiple former Nickelodeon stars. Earlier this year, the docuseries "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" detailed Schneider's alleged misconduct, including claims of sexual abuse.

In response to the allegations, Schneider gave his first interview in March, acknowledging some of his past behaviour and expressing regret. He admitted to not treating every employee with respect and wished he could go back and fix his mistakes.
