Dolly Parton is writing a new stage musical, "Hello, I'm Dolly," which will debut on Broadway in 2026. The show will feature new songs written by Parton, as well as some of her past hits.
Parton will team up with Maria S. Schlatte to co-write the story, which is inspired by her life.
Parton has had a long and successful career, earning numerous awards and accolades, including 11 Grammy wins and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
She has also starred in movies, written books, and donated to various charitable causes.
The show will be produced by Parton, Adam Speers, and Danny Nozell.
It will be the latest musician bio on Broadway, joining shows like "Aida" and "Mamma Mia!"
