SNL reveals May lineup with Olivia Rodrigo, Matt Damon, Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney appearances

NBC’s Saturday Night Live has unveiled a star-studded lineup for the final episodes of its 51st season, with major names set to host throughout May.
Kicking things off, Olivia Rodrigo will take on double duty as both host and musical guest on May 2. This marks her hosting debut, although she has previously appeared on the show as a musical guest in earlier seasons. Her return comes ahead of her highly anticipated third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, set for release in June. Rodrigo first rose to global fame with her albums Sour and Guts.
On May 9, Matt Damon will host the episode, with Noah Kahan serving as the musical guest. Damon will be hosting SNL for the third time, following appearances in 2002 and 2018, the latter earning him an Emmy nomination. Meanwhile, Kahan returns after his previous performance in 2023, promoting his upcoming album The Great Divide.
The season finale on May 16 will feature Will Ferrell as host, alongside legendary musician Paul McCartney as the musical guest. Ferrell, a former SNL cast member, is expected to bring his signature comedic style back to the stage, while McCartney’s appearance adds a nostalgic and iconic touch to the finale.
With this high-profile lineup, Saturday Night Live season 51 is set to close on a strong note, blending comedy, music, and major celebrity appearances.
