Netflix’s hit period drama Bridgerton is expanding its world once again, with three new actors officially joining the cast for its highly anticipated fifth season.

The additions promise to bring fresh romance, intrigue, and social tension to the ton.

Tega Alexander steps into the role of Christopher Anderson, a charming yet mysterious Casanova who is expected to turn heads in London society. As the son of Lord Anderson, Christopher quickly establishes himself as one of the most eligible bachelors of the season. However, beneath his polished exterior lies a deeper complexity that could shake up the social order.

Joining him is Jacqueline Boatswain as Helen Stirling, a strong-willed and traditional Regency-era mother. Tasked with guiding her daughter Michaela through the pressures of high society, Helen embodies both discipline and care. Her presence is likely to add emotional depth and generational tension to the storyline.

Rounding out the trio is Gemma Knight Jones, who will portray Lady Elizabeth Ashworth. A close friend and mentor figure to Michaela, Elizabeth is both charming and perceptive. Her understanding of society’s unspoken rules makes her a valuable ally—but also a character to watch closely.

As Bridgerton season 5 continues to build anticipation, these new cast members are set to enrich the series’ signature mix of romance, scandal, and societal drama. Fans can expect new rivalries, alliances, and secrets to unfold when the show returns.
