At a recent concert in Lyon, France, Taylor Swift experienced what she affectionately termed a "rain show," celebrating the undampened spirits of her fans who continued to dance and sing despite the weather.

The pop superstar, 34, currently on the European leg of her Eras Tour, took a moment during her performance at Groupama Stadium on Sunday, June 2, to commend her audience's enthusiasm.

“So it looks like we have officially had a rain show tonight, this is a rain show for sure,” Swift said, acknowledging the downpour during her show in a video captured and shared by a fan page on X.

The singer, positioned by a moss-decorated piano, expressed her admiration for the crowd: "you guys are absolute champions and heroes for dancing even harder when it started raining. I saw that,” she noted, prompting cheers from her supporters.

Swift, who has not frequently toured in Europe, expressed her gratitude for the warm reception from her overseas fans.

During the concert, she also took a moment to ensure the safety of her audience, switching to French to ask for assistance for a fan in need.

The night also included a celebration of Pride Month, with Swift declaring "Happy Pride Month, Lyon,” amid rainbow lights illuminating the stage during her performance of "You Need to Calm Down," a hit known for its advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

Swift’s Lyon concert was part of a series of performances scheduled across Europe and the United Kingdom which includes stops in England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

The Grammy-winning artist is set to continue her tour with another show in Lyon before heading to the UK.

Reflecting on her tour, Swift shared her joy on Instagram following two "magical nights" in Madrid, Spain.

"I LOVE YOU FOREVER MADRID!!! No ability to convey my thoughts other than to just YELL that,” she wrote.

“We just got to spend 2 magical nights dancing and singing with the most electrifying, passionate crowds and I’ll never forget a second of it. I can’t thank you all enough. See you Lyon!."
