Demi Lovato has shared new details about her upcoming It’s Not That Deep tour, marking her return to touring after a four-year break.

The singer confirmed the tour will begin in April, following recent public appearances and promotional events tied to her cookbook, One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food.

Speaking at an event in New York City on March 17, Lovato described her current phase as a positive and reflective period. “It's really amazing to be in this era right now,” she said.

“It's very celebratory, very fun.” She added that the album reflects her current outlook, stating, “I'm happier than ever, and I wanted my music to reflect that.”

Lovato acknowledged that returning to touring brings mixed emotions. “I'm very, very, very excited and a little overwhelmed, a little nervous, but I'm very excited, and I can't wait to see everybody on the road,” she said.

The singer noted that fans can expect a mix of tracks from her latest album alongside earlier material, adding, “I can't wait to play music from It's Not That Deep, but also songs that you are all already familiar with.”

She also hinted at the possibility of performing unreleased material during the tour. When asked about a standout track, Lovato highlighted “Sorry to Myself,” explaining its personal significance.

“I went through so much, and I kind of put myself through hell for a long time, and I'm sorry to myself for that,” she said, adding, “But it's about taking charge and reclaiming the narrative.”

Lovato has previously spoken about the physical and mental demands of touring, noting it can be “a lot of work.” However, she emphasised the connection with fans as a key motivation for returning to live performances.
