Sarah Ferguson has publicly denied reports claiming she considered joining a reality television show involving the cloning of Queen Elizabeth’s corgis, according to RadarOnline.

The former Duchess of York, 66, reportedly discussed a potential series with Halcyon Studios in 2023 that would explore cloning the late monarch’s two surviving corgis, Muick and Sandy. Ferguson and her former husband, Andrew Windsor, 66, have cared for the dogs since Queen Elizabeth’s death in 2022 (MEGA).

A synopsis for the proposed show, shared by the Daily Mail, described a venture called The Queen’s Corgis, in which Ferguson would collaborate with scientists and investors to clone the Queen’s dogs for sale to dog enthusiasts worldwide. The concept suggested that viewers would follow Ferguson as she navigated the scientific, ethical, and royal-family challenges of the project.

Ferguson’s representative clarified that while she often receives TV offers, she declined this proposal. “Ms. Ferguson regularly receives varied TV offers and proposals – often for reality shows which she always declines,” the statement said (RadarOnline). The spokesperson emphasized that conversations about a dog-focused program ended after Ferguson decided not to participate.

Muick and Sandy, the final two corgis of Queen Elizabeth, remain in the public eye due to their status as national icons. Ferguson previously shared an Instagram tribute to the Queen, noting, “Her Majesty will be forever loved, always missed, and never forgotten,” and reflected on the public attention the dogs continue to receive (MEGA).

The report confirms that Ferguson has no involvement in any reality project involving corgi cloning, underscoring her ongoing respect for the late Queen’s legacy and privacy in media matters.
