Grammy-winning rock icon Lenny Kravitz opted for Paris's iconic Hôtel de Crillon to mark his 60th birthday, coinciding with the debut of his highly anticipated album, Blue Electric Light.

On the evening of May 24, festivities commenced with a dinner hosted by Kravitz, born on May 26, 1964, followed by an after-party where DJ Ruckus provided the musical backdrop, keeping guests dancing into the night.

According to a source speaking to People Magazine, the legendary figure enjoyed a "joyous evening surrounded by his closest family and friends," with speeches honoring his late mother, actress Roxie Roker.

Guests included the star's former spouse Lisa Bonet, their daughter Zoë Kravitz, Naomi Campbell, Salma Hayek with husband François-Henri Pinault, Pauletta Washington with son John David, Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, Colman Domingo, and Marisa Tomei.

The source also revealed that an especially meaningful attendee was present: Lenny Kravitz's former fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Goldberg, who journeyed from New York to Paris to partake in the celebrations.

Earlier this year, Kravitz was featured on the cover of People Magazine for its Black History Month edition, where he shared reflections on his pioneering career.

He expressed astonishment at his current state of feeling revitalized and eager despite his accomplishments: "It's sort of amazing to me that I could be where I am now and feel fresh and hungry."

Weeks later, Kravitz received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Zoë and his close friend Denzel Washington delivering humorous speeches in tribute to the musician.

"I never thought about it. Like I said, when I was a kid, I was walking up and down these streets, but I was pretty much always thinking about where I was going to sleep that night," he said.

"To have it now just feels so surreal, and I'm really grateful."
