Shannen Doherty and her ex-husband Rick Salomon discussed their whirlwind romance and short-lived marriage on a recent episode of Doherty's podcast, "Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty."

Doherty and Salomon, who were married in Las Vegas in January 2002 and annulled in May 2003, acknowledged the impetuous nature of their relationship  “Three weeks?” he said, to which Doherty replied, “Was it only three weeks? No. It was longer than that. No way.”

Doherty recounted a car conversation that led to Salomon proposing. She also humorously mentioned requesting her parents' attendance despite the quickie wedding, to which Salomon insisted on getting married immediately.

Salomon's daughter, Tyson, who joined the podcast episode, offered a possible explanation for Salomon's impulsive actions, suggesting he dislikes delaying significant events.

The discussion also touched on the reasons behind their separation. Doherty attributed it to substance abuse issues that Salomon was facing at the time. Despite the challenges, Doherty expressed her continued fondness for Salomon.

"We got divorced because you had a little bit of a drug thing back then," Doherty said on the podcast. "At the end of the day, I've always loved you. You always made me laugh. You always made me smile."
