Lana Del Rey seemed to take a side in the Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian feud, at least for one night, during the 2024 Met Gala.
The 38-year-old "Born To Die" singer had collaborated with Swift on the song "Snow on the Beach" from Swift's 2022 album "Midnights." They also attended the 2024 Grammy Awards together and hung out at the Super Bowl earlier this year.
However, at the Met Gala, Del Rey chose to spend time with Kardashian, 43.
The two had previously collaborated on a Valentine's Day Skims campaign. They were filmed together for a Vogue interview on the Met Gala red carpet, where Del Rey mentioned their "sister corset shapes."
Del Rey wore an Alexander McQueen gown with a dramatic headpiece, while Kardashian donned a skintight, corseted Maison Margiela outfit with a matching gray sweater.
During the event, Del Rey also spoke with an "Entertainment Tonight" reporter, who asked her about her favorite song from Swift's new album.
“It’s the one uhh, ‘Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?,’ ” Del Rey replied, pausing briefly to recall the title.
“Whatever that title was,” she added.
The feud between Swift and Kardashian dates back to 2009 when Kardashian's then-husband, Kanye West, interrupted Swift's MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech. In 2016, West released "Famous," claiming Swift approved the lyrics, which she disputed.
“I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore,” Swift disclosed in her 2023 Time magazine Person of the Year cover story. “I went down really, really hard.”
Swift reignited the feud with Kardashian by releasing "thanK you aIMee" as part of her eleventh album, seemingly comparing Kardashian to a high school bully.
Kim Kardashian has yet to publicly respond to the track.
