Chairperson of Climate Hub Forum, Erum Khan, emphasised that the adverse conditions, including unusual rains and floods in Sindh and other districts of Pakistan in 2022, were direct consequences of climate change. She proposed the inclusion of a mandatory five-minute awareness session about climate change in all theme-based events in the city.

Aamir Sadozai, co-founder of Climate Hub Forum, stressed that the event was not merely a gathering but a diplomatic initiative to amplify Pakistan's voice in global climate negotiations, particularly in the United Nations climate efforts and COP29. Sadozai aims to foster partnerships and position Pakistan strategically on the global stage against climate change.

Addressing the audience, speakers highlighted the alarming practice of cutting trees due to haphazard constructions and electric wires. They advocated for the relocation of trees instead of their indiscriminate removal.
