Six held for ‘public intimidation’

Chowki Pul Dangro Police filed a case against six young men who were arrested for allegedly spreading fear among the public by brandishing weapons. Acting under the guidance of DSP Nishatabad Rana Umar Daraz, in-charge Chowki Pul Dangro Assistant Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali Khokhar arrested six suspected members of "555 group" for public intimidation in Chak No. 49 Munda Pind and Bathan village.

The six suspects, identified as Qaiser, Yasir, Basharat, Khadim, Adil and Fakhar, were taken into custody and authorities seized six 30-bore pistols, one 12-bore gun, one 12-bore repeater, another firearm and a mobile phone from their possession. Cases were registered against the suspects and the interrogation process has started. According to police, the arrested suspects habitually terrorized citizens and shopkeepers by brandishing weapons without any justified cause.
