The city is expected to remain windy, as the effects of the western system on Karachi began to appear in the form of chilly winds.
Reportedly, strong northeasterly winds from Balochistan persisted throughout the day, with a recorded speed of 38 km per hour.
Last Friday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 15.5 degrees Celsius, a noticeable decrease from Monday. The cold air trailing the western system, which entered the country via Balochistan, is affecting both Sindh and Balochistan.
The Pakistan Meteoro-logical Department (PMD) had predicted cold weather a few days ago. According to their reports, the maximum wind speed in the city reached 38 kmph.

PMD Chief, Sardar Sarfraz, has anticipated a further drop in temperatures on Wednesday due to sustained north-easterly winds.
