The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is significant for Pakistan which will foster rapid economic growth and enhance regional security, remarked Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) President Moazzam Ghurki.

At a meeting, Ghurki labelled CPEC as a “model of collaboration, partnership, connectivity and shared prosperity”.

He emphasised the significance of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in enhancing business-to-business collaboration while the government was working to ensure a smooth transition towards CPEC’s second phase to uplift the marginalised areas through socio-economic development.
