                                        LAHORE:

A division bench of the Lahore High Court comprising Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan and Justice Kazim Raza Shamsi on Tuesday ordered to de-seal Al-Falah theatre. The bench issued the order on a petition moved by Malik Tariq Mahmood against sealing of the theatre. The petitioner pleaded that he was running the affairs of the theatre for a long time but now the administration had joined hands with one Arshad Chaudhry and awarded him a contract to run the theatre. The petitioner said Chaudhry was not eligible for such a contract but now the administration had closed the theatre. He requested the court to de-seal the theatre to enable him to stage a play. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered that the theatre be de-sealed.
