Assistant Director (AD) of the Rawalpindi’s Regional Police Office, Javed Rasool, has been removed from his position for allegedly neglecting his professional and administrative duties, including not getting himself and the branch’s ministerial staff examined, during the health screening of the Punjab Police Force.
In this regard, the Punjab inspector general of police (IGP) issued transfer orders on the recommendation of the Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer, Syed Khurram Ali.
According to sources, health screening of the staff was conducted in the police offices across Punjab.
However, during scrutiny, it was revealed that Javed Rasool was allegedly negligent and did not get himself and some other staff screened.
At this, RPO Khurram Ali took strict notice and recommended his removal from post.
