Spring has returned to drought-prone Cholistan after a rainy spell in the area. The area’s reservoirs were filled and flowers began blooming among wild bushes.
According to details, pre-monsoon rains have ended the drought in Cholistan. Nature-loving citizens are heading to Cholistan to see blooming flowers, while cattle farmers, who had moved to the plains due to the drought, are returning to the desert along with their herds of cows and sheep.
The fertile soil of Cholistan is characterized by the flowering plants that bloom when it rains. During this period, colorful flowers enhance the area’s natural beauty.
Shrubs, trees and flowering plants of Cholistan have strong roots and short height. The long roots and leaves of the desert’s wild plants retain moisture for long periods.
The different species of plants in the area include cactus, Saguaro, Creosote, Desileran, Aloe Ferox and Rhubarb, as well as lithops and elm, cereus, stipple wormwood, sedge, bluegrass and other herbaceous plants, trees and shrubs.
