ISLAMABAD:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce its decision on the matter of removing Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Tuesday (today).

The commission will deliver its judgment reserved on Shujaat’s plea. It should be noted here that the ECP reserved its decision in August last year.

In July last year, Pervaiz Elahi’s group had decided to remove Shujaat and General Secretary Tariq Bashir Cheema from the party’s top posts. However, Shujaat filed an application with the ECP challenging the decision.
