The port city is likely to see more than usual gusty winds today (Tuesday), while the temperature may rise further from Wednesday, said Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in its synopsis.
PMD said that winds blowing southwards from the north-eastern stretches of Balochistan, Karachi's weather remained cold and dry on Monday.
However, the city's maximum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, with an increase of one degree compared to the previous day and the city's minimum temperature was 10.5 degrees.
According to the Early Warning Centre of PMD, the weather is expected to remain dry and cold for the next three days. Sea breezes are inactive for the next several days, while north-easterly winds are expected to blow in Baluchistan.
Occasional gusts of high wind velocity are expected to blow through the city on Tuesday and Wednesday, the synopsis said.
Temperature was recorded between 10 to 12 degrees on Tuesday, while on Wednesday it is expected to remain between 13 to 28 degrees.
