Karachi Killings: MQM protests target killings

The protesters blocked Qanwan Road for several hours.

MUZAFFARGARH: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged a protest on Wednesday to protest against the target killings in Karachi. MQM workers called for restoring law and order in the city and local MQM activists raised slogans against the Sindh government and People’s Aman Committee. The protesters blocked Qanwan Road for several hours. District in-charge M Jamil Sheikh, Moeenuddin Khalid and other officials addressed a large crowd of protesters. MQM activists also offered Fateha prayers for the departed souls and prayed peace in Karachi.
