Stray Bullet: Girl killed while cleaning gun

FAISALABAD: A young girl was killed while cleaning a gun on Monday night. According to police officials, Mohallah Chibban resident 15-year-old Mehwish was cleaning her father Mansoor Ahmed’s gun when the trigger was accidentally pushed. Mehwish’s mother said that she rushed to see what had happened but the bullet had already killed her. Mehwish’s family said that she did not know the gun was loaded and that she had been shot in the neck. Police officials have taken the body into custody and have registered a case.
