ISLAMABAD:

Senator Fawzia Arshad has said that organising fairs and exhibitions is the best way to revive business and economic activities.

The senator made the remarks during her visit to the three-day “ICCI Pakistan Property, Housing and Construction Expo 22”, being held at the Pak-China Friendship Centre.

Arshad visited various stalls that had been put up for display and praised the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) for organising such a mega exhibition.

“The expo will contribute to stimulating business activities in the housing and construction sector,” she stressed.

Speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Muhammad Shakeel Munir said that the main purpose of organising the expo was to prop up the economy by boosting business activities in the housing and construction sector.

He said that the construction industry played a vital role in economic development as it promoted over 70 allied industries. He voiced hope that the expo would help ramp up business activities and contribute to reviving the economy.
