IG police aims to digitise CTD

IG Sindh said that the reorganisation of CTD and its reforms are aimed at digitising its activities

In a meeting held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, the reorganisation of the (CTD) Counter Terrorism Department of Sindh and the introduction of reforms were reviewed, and more necessary instructions were given.

The purpose of the meeting was to digitise the responsibilities and move them in the right direction. IG Sindh said that the reorganisation of CTD and its reforms are aimed at digitising its activities, including investigations, operations, training, intelligence working and others and synchronising technical expertise against crime and criminal elements as per the requirements of the time and improving the graph of success. He added that thanks to these measures, CTD's operational, investigative, and research performance would be significantly increased, and the conviction rate would also improve due to solid, effective investigation and subsequent challan to the arrested accused.

Additional IGC CTD Imran Yaqub Minhas, DIG CTD Asif Ijaz Sheikh, SSP Investigation CTD Fida Hussain Shah, SSP Operations CTD Zubair Nazir Sheikh, AIG Operations Sindh, AIG Admin CPO, In-charge CTD Raja Umar Khitab and In-charge CTD Technical Mazhar Mashwani were also present in the meeting.
