Boy's suicide letter found; two others injured in Karachi

Yesterday, a teenage boy's body was found hanging from a tree.

Acording to details, a boy’s body was found hanging from a tree in front of Rim Jhim Tower in Safora Chowrangi yesterday.

Police and rescue workers reached the spot on information and shifted the body to Jinnah Hospital to take necessary action. According to Malik Faisal Latif, SHO of Malir Cantt Police Station, the deceased was identified as 14-year-old Ramesh, son of Butto.

He said that the deceased committed suicide by hanging from a tree.

They had found a letter was from him in his native language, stating that he was committing suicide.

Faisal Latif said the deceased had been missing from the house since Friday afternoon and his family had submitted a missing complaint to Sachal police station.

He said that the deceased left the house angry. The boy was a resident of the area working at a puncture shop.

Injured

Two people were injured in firing incidents in different areas of the city. One of the injureds condition was said to be critical.

A man, Abdul Majeed, 50, was shot in the chest in the Bilal Shah Noorani Goth area within the limits of Sachal police station. Police sources said that the shooting incident seems to be a result of old personal enmity and the injured is in extremely critical condition. Police have started further investigation of the incident.

Ahmad Abdul Ghaffar, 32, was shot and injured near Nazimabad Psychological Centre within the limits of Nazimabad police station.
