The construction of a tehsil headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Sharqpur is expected to be completed by the first week of December. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate the hospital.
According to Health Department officials, construction work will cost Rs183.9 million. The officials said construction had also begun for a THQ hospital in Ferozewala. The project is expected to cost Rs178 million.
The officials said Rs54.9 million has already been spent on the construction. Another Rs25 million has been allocated for the purpose in the current fiscal year. They said a new gynae ward would be established in Muidkee THQ Hospital at a cost of Rs99 million.
