ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has erected special squads to curb one-wheeling and road stunt activities in the city.

These special squads were established to check for one-wheeling, car racing and rash driving. These stunts not only put the lives of violators in danger but also of other road users.

Various teams and special squads of ITP would continuously patrol various areas, including 7th avenue, 9th avenue, Margallah Road, Kashmir Highway, Expressway, and Murree Road.

SSP (Traffic) Syed Mustafa Tanvir appealed to parents to be vigilant with their children and not allow them to act out these stunts. "Such steps by the ITP have the only purpose to ensure a safe road environment for the citizens of Islamabad," he said.
